Cowboy Trail Rides is a family-owned and -operated horseback riding and tour company in Las Vegas. We have been providing horseback and horse-drawn-wagon since 1996.
We also present Western barbeque dinners, large and small group parties, lessons for young riders, corporate team-building events, and cowboy entertainment.
Our ranch, hidden in the high desert mountains west of the city and minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, offers guests an authentic and adventurous Old West experience in one of America’s most scenic protected environments.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. (We will gladly reschedule any ride.) Any no-shows or cancellations received after the 24-hour period will be charged full price and will be given a twelve (12) month credit on a comparable ride at current prices at Cowboy Trail Rides. No cash refunds are available.
We do not enforce a weight limit on any of our trail rides; We have large horses for large people; however we do require our guests to get on and off their horses with only minimum assistance from our wranglers. We do have a loading platform for those that need it and we encourage you to use it. We have guests of all ages and sizes with different abilities ride with us these past 24 years. Please call us if you think you have limitations that may keep you from enjoying your experience with us.
Yes, children are welcome age 7 and older on most of our riding tours. Helmets are required for children ages 7 through 16. We do supply helmets.
Please wear long pants and comfortable, loose-fitting clothes, closed-toe shoes, and, in the winter, layered clothing. (sweater or sweatshirt, jacket , and gloves).. Hats (other than ball caps) should have chin string.
Winter months in Las Vegas:(Dec, Jan, Feb.) it can be cold in the mornings and evenings. Please wear layered clothing, a hat, and gloves. Spring and Fall months:(Mar, April, May, Sept, Oct, Nov.) are beautiful, but can be cool in the mornings and the evenings, with warm days. Summer months:(June, July, August) are warm but comfortable. Bring sun screen and a hat! Please, no shorts or open-toe shoes.
